Wow, these guys are brutal.... Casper and pork chop must have been former J.B. employees.

The stores have you drop loaded trailer in the same door so yes it is double drop. You get 8 bucks for a d&h but 16 an hour. If it takes you an hour to do it, 16 bucks. If the dude can't find the manager and you are there 90 min, 20 bucks.

On a 5 day week you should gross between 900 and 1100.

This account NEVER slows down. Currently we have way too much work but not enough trucks for the drivers. Guys are waiting up to 3 hours just to get a truck to drive. we are 100% over trailer capacity so we have 4 different offsite lots for trailers. Place is crazy right now. If it was legal for me to work 8 days a week they would let me. I know family is important to a lot of guys including myself so I usually work 6 days every other week. I heard we are getting several new trucks but don't know if they are adding them or replacing older ones. I believe we currently have 145 drivers on our account.

Old thread, but since it's already been bumped, what is Home Depot Wikes-Barre semi-local like? Day or night deliveries? Slip seat or assigned equipment on sleepers? Drop and hook or driver assist? NYC?

Basically the description states a triangle running area of Illinois to the east coast from Massachusetts to Virginia. Out 5 home 2.

Biggest question. Is the $90,000/year they're stating realistic or a pipe dream?
