Believe it or not Georgia was giving us trouble getting a permit and would not permit us any overhang with more than one piece on the trailer , They told us with trailer length over 53’7” you can’t have any over hang over 3 feet with a divisible load

MartinFromBC, Razororange and Oxbow Thank this.

From what I can tell that loads not divisible in regards to length. That load doesn’t even require a permit in Georgia if you’re not over weight or width. FYI. They will still take your money and issue you a permit even if it’s not needed.

I’m note sure about the underride guard for a load with rear overhang. I know we regularly run with 6’ of rear overhang at 20’ and 16’ wide and never have issues.

    Oxbow Thanks this.
