It looked avoidable to me. Backing off the throttle for just a sec is all it would have took to have a different outcome from what I can see but of course I wasn't there.

I did let off the throttle, but no weight to help slow me down (empty trailer). There was vehicles in the left next to me and a tailgater most likely not paying attention riding my ### like we're in prison. So, I'm not going to hit the brakes and risk a more serious incident. And didn't use the air horn because the risk of the pickup panicking and slamming into me. I did what I'm suppose to do as having the right of way on the interstate. I held my lane and held my speed for as long as possible to allow them to either speed up or slow to merge properly. Getting over a lane isn't a requirement and is merely that driver being nice. The very slight swerve in the video is to make sure that I didn't put the pickup in a PIT maneuver and having her side ways. I think everything came out fine considering it could have been much much worse.

They had all the time and space needed to get their speed right for the merge.

    Filter phrase sound so medicinal...

I hereby petition that we change that to"colorful metaphor"...

Because I'm sure @MachoCyclone and you can agree with the most logical of people....

Not only did they have time and space. It is the merging vehicles responsibility to yield not the interstate traffic.

I wanted to let all of the regular posters in this thread know @MachoCyclone and I had a very pleasant conversation about that video. I'm left with nothing but the utmost respect for him for the way he handled it.

It's no longer cheaper to fill at Maverick Holbrook over winslow. They got the new sinage and are charging the correct heavy use tax. Current price 2.93. 2.91 with adventure card. 2.60 def.

So, Bar S in Elk City doesn't have my load ready even though it was a 24hr window. 0001-2359 today (the fourth). Bobtailed out to the Hutch's across the highway and the cashier has awesome name. Eula. So, me being me, I said, " I've never met End User License Agreement before. I thought you were just text I had to click agree in order to play a game." So got the reference and chuckled. I asked if she gets that alot and she said no that I was the first person to make that connection.

Its always nice when you can make an actual funny reference to a name that's not terribly overused. When people hear my last name, I can literally see the wheels start to turn in their head, then the phrase "So that means if you became...." starts and I'm instantly like...

since I've heard it since the 1st grade, but of course with a smile because I'm a nice guy.

I'm a geek so when I first saw your last name I thought of someone impersonating the Doctor from Doctor Who, but doing evil instead of good and just a mere human and not an actual time lord.
