Doesn't suprise me. FedEx and UPS drivers are terrible. Maybe they are mad or something. Who knows.

I’m just glad that after many months you finally found the courage to stand up and tell your story.

#me too
Kyle G., cybill234 and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
I haven't been on in a while and forgot about it I saw a post that jogged my memory.
Seriously tho usually I get over. I was probably in a bad mood that day and didn't feel lik doing all the adjusting when it's HIS job, not mine. -
Seriously though, in such a situation if you would have hit the FedEx while he was merging who would have had to pay for it? Obviously you would try to avoid a wreck if at all possible.
Cars are bad for this sort of behavior and I was wondering if you was to hit them while their merging or they hit you because you couldn't move over and they got injured. Could a lawyer make a case against you? -
It's not surprising. Seems like almost half of the accidents I see in I-80 are FedEx, with the other half being SWIFT.
-
I’ll often run into this situation, anticipate it, check left lane to find I’m going to cause a jam there, and just haul on the anchors early and wait for whoever to merge in.
Gets irritating after a while in heavier traffic, but better than the body shop and a bunch of paperwork. -
Everyone is always pointing fingers at others when bad happens, do they do that when good happens? Sometimes it is best to be responsible for your own safety and avoid others when they are being a bit aggressive. Make sure you are in a safe spot, get the truck and trailer #s with location, then contact that companies safety dept. and bring up the issue. If you do not take the time to complain in the right direction you only blowing smoke, Also the state troopers would love to know about these actions so they can do what they are being paid to do, get a dash cam and recorder and complain to the ones who can do something about it.

Unless you had video of it, or a witness, it's a "his word against yours" situation, so avoiding it was the best thing, then a quiet "##### moron" under your breath. I had a guy almost put me in the median while he was reaching for some paperwork to read, and my company caught it on dashcam (we have forward facing, constantly on dash cams that send viewable events in automatically)...I got a message from corporate the next day saying "nice job avoiding that wreck yesterday"...but even though they had the truck, trailer and company name on video, they just left it at that, patted me on the back and we went about our daily lives.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
I always treat a Fed- Wrex truck just like I would an insane person with a weapon. You get way out of their way and hope they don't kill you.
