I'm running 78 to 81 down to Carolina. Looks like I should be alright.

Loaded in Bayonne NJ and delivering in Gastonia NC. A nice 650 plus haul to set me up before hometime.

A few flakes fell, but overall it was a good drive. Had to replace another headlight bulb, other than that, the trip has been uneventful.

Made it to the J with the Brendels restaurant. Believe it's off the 100 on 77 in NC. Might be 101, but think it's 100. Either way, 111 to my delivery and then I run to put Big Ugly in the barn and enjoy some hometime.

With all the sitting around during the Easter weekend, I dreaded the paycheck this week. Was pleasantly surprised. It's better pay when running, but I wasn't feeling high and dry with a tad over 1500 on a six day week and only 2 loads carried.

Offloading is going quick. Might get to Wilmington by 1430 or earlier. Taking a full 4 off and then running a 3 or 4 day out and back followed by 2 more at the house before going OTR again.

I need time with the family and to care for my bees. Apparently there's a project my wife wants me to do too.

I'm figuring out what works best for me and my family. That's a lot of what my TM wants us to do. I mix it up a lot right now and am still on pace for close to 60 grand as a rookie driver, so I'm happy right now.

Should we move closer to the terminal, I will run more out and backs. We just picked up a dozen or so more out and back routes from Invista. My personal situation would work well with four or five days out and two or three at home. When I want more play money, I could run the system.

That's the beauty of trucking. There is a job for your life style. Superior won't be for everyone, but they'll work with you if you earn for them.

Kids are all entertained and my wife has aired her grievances. Time to collect some taxes or play MD.

A recent study shows that two glass of wine for women could lead to a stroke. If you let her finish the bottle it might lead to a blow. I picked up a bottle on the way home at her request. Night y'all.

Mortarmaggot how do you put in for home time before you leave out just wondering how it works if you are required to stay out a certain number of days
