Anyone know if there’s anywhere safe and legal to park in the downtown Seattle area near the Stadiums and Convention Center? Any truck stops in that same area?
Thank you.

None. Best bet is the rest stop in federal way, near the wild waves if you’re coming from the south. From the north, vlosest rest area is in Everett. From the east, maybe one of the big industrial parks near renton. In the downtown, SODO (south near the stadiums) area, there’s occassionally a place underneath the west seattle bridges. However, that’s also no-man’s-land. Sorry to say it, but parking in Seattle sucks.

Thanks. I was lucky enough to find a spot along one of the streets to sit and wait a few hours and nobody bothered me.

There's a staging area between the bay & freeway they use for the convention center.
It's south of the stadium, on the same street as the Burger King.
You could probably nit in there somewhere.
YAK's Asian food is right there too, and it's good.58Skylane Thanks this. -

Whenever I get a load into the Seattle area, I plan it so I can shut down the day before my delivery at exit 57 off the I-5, then get up very early and beat the traffic into the city before I unload. The truckstop there is called Cee Cee's and isn't bad. They have bathrooms and a decent restaurant, and a lot of parking. The other stops closer to the city are always packed and not much room to move around the lot. I really hate going into Seattle because of the traffic, and heading south through Portland at the wrong time of day is as bad or worse.
