That's exactly right. It is really common on Priuses (Priuii?) because the hybrid regenation does almost all of the normal braking so the pads never wear out. If you don't periodically lube the pins on sliding calipers, they drag.
The Tundra's brake problems were because Toyota cheaped out and used small T100 brakes on the larger 2000-2002 Tundra. They made the brakes a little bigger in 2003 and a lot bigger on the next generation.
