Ok technically it is possible, but makes so sense. The point is on a 2+2+2 with a 4 axle truck if you could get all axles to split correctly you would have to seriously load up the front of the deck real heavy. It would not work great for most loads with the center of gravity not even close to the middle of the deck. Kind of like a 12 axle set-up or what I call a 3+3+2 with a 4 axle truck. That is a real common trailer. Most are spec'ed at a 70ton. Get the axles loaded right and you could do 150,000# payload, but 140,000# is more realistic since you would have to load the front like crazy to do it,

What kind of set-up did you say you just ordered? Curious to know.

You don’t have to put the load up to the front, the center of the load would be setting directly in between the kingpin and the trunion. If you had enough fifth wheel slide, enough jeep neck swing clearance, and enough neck on the Main trailer you could easily get 20,000 on every axle with being against the neck.

    I ordered a 55 ton modular.

I’m thinking a bit along the same lines you are here. What would be the chances of the state most likely to be the one to put the brakes on this also being the most restrictive and probably expensive to deal with right now?

What brand of trailer? Any deck sections with it? An eight axle setup I presume?

Trail King is a great trailer. Spreader bar capable? If so did you get one with it? What beam height did you go with on the decks? Horizontal pinned, vertical non-recessed, or vertical recessed connection? Projected empty weight?

Also what total swing clearance if you are getting it with a flip neck? What is the completion date? I looked at possible doing a XL the other day and they are out till October.

Whats the thought behind the 132" swing? Do you have a real long wheelbase 4 axle trying to get 20k on the steer or maybe trying to utilize a 5 axle truck since you are running a quad on trailer?

I figured I need that much to get 20,000 on the steer, the truck I’m driving now it won’t work but it will the next truck.
