    No doubt !!
I even dim every interior light I can down as far as I can.
If it's not essential.. GPS, ELD, etc.. it's blacked out.
    These peepers are tard.

I don't know how some guys do it.
You ease past them at night and the entire inside of the cab is glowing like a brightly lit UFO.

    I can't take it.
Too many miles.. too many long, long nights.

    IluvCATS and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

I don't know what's funnier here.....the hissy fit that led headlights and driving lights cause, or that 1exHeavy found a way to fit in he has a gun even in a thread about headlights..

    I disagree.

Aiming the light doesn't fix the scattering and the scattering comes from either a very piss poor design (ford vehicles are the best example) or sticking hid or led lamps in a housing that isn't made with a projection lens with a proper cutoff.

If you swap out your seal beams to an hid, then you have to have property projection lenses and the right housing for it in place. Many of these conversions don't have the right cut off and don't focus the light right.

Also you all do not buy into this bs that the lights are dot approved, the dot doesn't approve any lighting unit.

    Why?

Because the way the system works is on the honor system. If you make the light, then you can claim it is up to the standards of the us dot and conform with the regulations.

Many think it is all about getting things brighter but the truth is that it wastes energy (light) to have light everywhere except on the road.
