Sitting in Sparks Nv finishing up a reset. I need to be back in Richmond on Tuesday to get trained by insurance people on how to be a trainer. Can’t wait. I had lunch here yesterday with 2 of my trainees that have fit in nicely here the last 6 months to go along with the other 5 doing the same deal. Maybe we can compare notes.

Lonesome, Redtwin and runningman0661 Thank this.

Now John, it's not really for you. You know that. IMO, you are a very good trainer. You actually care that your trainees "get it" before they get turned loose on the unsuspecting public. It's for 1.) insurance purposes & 2.) all those other yeehoos who don't really train anyone, just use the trainee for the $$.

I was told it was mandatory and that if I couldn’t do it I wouldn’t be able to train. I said that was fine and hung up. It wasn’t ten minutes later that I got a phone call from higher up seeing how we could make it work. We worked it out. All it took was $$$ and a few extra days at home.

That just validates what RebelChick said; i.e., you are a very conscientious trainer and that is valued by your employer. They obviously want you to keep doing it.

Silverdriver, Redtwin and JohnBoy Thank this.

US206 through Princeton, NJ is technically STAA rated, but I can't say as I recommend it. Drove right past the university with about four inches of clearance between me and the parked cars on the one side, and me and oncoming traffic on the other.

Think I'll hit US1 on the way out instead.

MACK E-6, Redtwin and JohnBoy Thank this.
