Who offers the best training to inexperienced CDL holders? Is it safer for a new driver to opt for Percentage pay per load or traditional per mile pay?
TMC,Comcar CT, or Cypress Truck Lines? Good choice for start up training. Percentage or mileage pay?

can't help you on which company is the better, never heard of any of those except TMC -
I don't know anything much about any other then Comcar. Comcar is a holding company that operates 4 carriers. A green driver will get the average training. They are not going to get rich, but I know from personal experience Comcar seems to be fair and you can make a living. Only problem that I ran into working for a Comcar carrier seemed that they ran a lot of junk.

I want as much hands on training as possible. Both driving and securing the loads.

I started out with TMC for training and stayed around for 5 years. At that time they gave you the option on pay. I would go with percentage. Did you check to see if you are in their hiring area.

I received a conditional offer letter from all three but I want to make the best choice. I don’t believe in job hopping.
Highway Sailor Thanks this. -
I heard Cypress operates run-down equipment.

A driver recently posted he just completed Cypress cdl school and was impressed with the training.

@Highway Sailor how would you rate TMCs training and overall the way they treat the operator?
