The only issue with that is when you will be contacted by the DOT to do your new entrant audit - which you had better not dodge them on it. They will use the same phone number to call that is on file to setup the audit. How do you solve this?

On my audits I've got both email and regular mail from auditor with instruction.
Way I mentioned above does not mean I will use random address or phone number. I have access to contact information I provided. It's just not my every day use email or phone, and therefore I won't miss anything important.

In my specific case virtual mail service actually scan things and you can see it online. Virtual phone is just an app on my phone with voicemail. And contact email I used for public view is being forwarded to my main email and goes to separate folder. This folder mainly contacts spams, random offers or "dues". And I open it once in awhile.
Also, safety audit information comes from .gov domain, so you can put filter on it. Anything that comes from .gov I would assume is important.

I believe they sent a letter as well. Either way, they spammy phone calls get a lot more rare after about 6 months or so. It's the new guys that they're after because a lot of them are inexperienced and will believe anything. I still get spam, by only a few times a week now.
