Who cares... all your trucks look the same.

 

As far as I can tell, this is a new model, released/announced very recently.
Of course the cab is based on a very old design, but it has a (relatively) modern common rail engine.

If you google Ashok Leyland 4123 you will find quite a lot of youtube videos, all 2nd half of April 2018.

Ashok Leyland had it's global conference in April 2018 in Chennai where they introduced all the latest developments.
I guess that is where the video was made.

 

Price will be right (cheap)... hope they import 1000s to Europe......

 

Did you see their look alike Scania?

 

Only pictures, not in real life.

I did see lots of Tata-Daewoo's Scania look alikes in South Korea.
Front grill is different, but profile from side is very similar to previous Scania.

You have to remember that untill a few years ago,it was quite common for Indians to build wooden cabs for trucks.
