Congrats! How are you liking going solo so far? Can I ask why you didn't go dedicated? I can't decide between a Target Dedicated (3 states) or Regional. Thank you.

Sorry I've been slacking in here. I got home late Friday night after a rough first week out. And it ended with the truck needing repairs so much so that I had to putt putt it down from Louisville to Lebanon at a whopping 55mph because it lost 25% of its power due to def issues and diagnostic codes popping out the wazoo. So that was cool. I've only been to a few OCs so far, and haven't had any issues. And yes, I do wear flip flops when showering lol. I prefer them over truck stops honestly. Also, I don't know if it's just Schneider trailers or all in general, but these landing gears are god awful to deal with. No matter what I do they just don't go up or down. And yea, I don't know how much longer I'll be staying there honestly. I love driving and I love driving the truck. But I'm realizing I'm much more of a homebody than I thought I was. Which I know, some people don't care about. But it's important to me. So we'll see what happens with that.

Thanks! I wouldn't mind going dedicated, but I was worried I wouldn't get enough miles out of it. If they offer it I'll for sure weigh my options though. Solo is taking some getting used too. I've always been an independent person, but this is to a whole other level. Regional is still alot of work with so much to deal with. I am also realizing I'd much rather be home more, so I don't know how long I'll be staying with them. Especially if I'm able to find something making the same if not more, but home every night. That's more important to me.

Side note: has anyone had issues using an aux cord with getting really bad static while your phone is playing music? I tried it in a car and it worked great. I don't know if it's the qualcomm interfering or what.

actually, 57. And if you go there on the right days, there's a couple that are about 20 and are smokin' hot

That's right 48, but like an old girlfriend told me one time , "it don't matter where you get your appetite, so long as you eat at home." LOL.

If your phone is plugged in (ie charging) at the same time you will hear "engine noise". The power coming thru the truck tends to carry a significant audio signal with it. Any audio lines crossing power cords can cause the same thing.

Looks like Gin86 flew the coop.
I'll just betcha' that those lovely $600.00 paychecks for working seven days a week, 12 hour days, didn't help much either.

Hey, all you Schneider company schills out there: 98% driver turnover rate!
    Why?
*Hint*. Low, low, pay (regardless of experience) as in well below minimum wage. Consistantly.
