JB says they're going to take care of it. I'm free and clear. But broke as a joke.
Obviously I will keep you posted on follow up. Plus..my adventure, even though plan b, is a mulligan.

You’re just going to start paying for a truck that you haven’t seen?

In fact, to complete that thought, Jb covering my hiney on getting free of bad lease is why I didn't want to consider switching companies at this time.

If I hate it I can eat more Oreos while I wait for another. The choices however are clear. New kw or new Volvo now. Eat Oreos and wait for cascadia or international. For my circumstance the new kw with the cummins engine seems like a good choice especially since plan b includes not even considering picking up balloon at end.

Well I'm a bit confused now. What was the last straw on the old truck?

So you are getting a brand new truck? A 680 with an X15?

    Yes. I'm getting a new T680 x15.

Last straw was brake cylinder part not avail until Monday then when they took the wheel off they found ..oh heck I don't even know the name of it ... The part on the end of the axle the wheel fastens to was rusted out and causing wheel to wobble out of round....so then Jb had to move me to another motel across town and there was a snafu because of graduation weekend and there I stood in the courtyard with my walmart cart and all my stuff and my two dogs and no place to go. It had gone beyond absurd.

I got to chime in. What is the new truck going to cost per week or month etc? I must point out this is truck 4 I'm not a hater at all. But when I read this blog there seems to be a very common factor... Zero to little cash flow, but you seem to have decent weeks at 2 grand clear. Now this is decent for what your leased to a mega that has freight has miles etc. We all know that game. We have all tried it. I was an IC with Schneider for 15 months took new truck to small reefer company stayed there 6 to this and got own authority. I average 22k to the truck every month. I pay 1200 a week for just my truck payment and have for years It's a 2016 with 320,000 on the clock my areal payment is 690.00 per week I will have this paid off before the 3 year mark. I own my reefer trailer. My insurance is 1700.00 per month. I'm based out of Denver Pot states kill the rates. I have over a 100 grand in the bank. I work 21 days a month give or take. I am very frugal on the road.

My point is you need to save save save. At 2,000.00 per week your taxes should be almost zero. You really need to road map this out. Again I wish you the best! I'm here to advise I just could not sit on the sidelines anymore. My email is David@GoProTrucking.com MC is 035574
