Flatbedder lingo for coils of wire.
These eventually went to a plant that made coil springs. Not sure what country they came from but, they had been handled so many times the bands were loose. There were maybe 10 loads of them and everyone had some sort of issue. They wanted straps only but after the second redo, I put chains on.
what was the WORST or CRAZIEST thing you have ever hauled?

Bobtailed from Gary, In to Columbus, Oh with a packet of hazmat paperwork some other driver forgot.
1. How did he forget the bill?
2. What, was the fax machine broken?

I didnt haul it, but i unloaded a return trailer one time at the DC where i used to work. Empty pallets, store to store transfers, etc. then i got to the nose and found the store’s plow truck wedged in there.

I picked up a zombie mannequin from a place specializing in making scary creatures that was bound for a theme park for a spooky ride or something. All the dock workers had to stop and check it out when I got back to the terminal. It was pretty freaky looking.

Sweet Potatoes. Not on pallets and not in totes or boxes. Just thousands of them dumped into my reefer by conveyor belt. Could not get the load to scale right. Trailer was a mess after it was unloaded. Cost like seventy dollars for a wash out.
