Just a heads up, seems like the bonuses are very black and white. Im missing out on 50% of my bonus due to faulty equipment. I barely missed the full metrics and they dont seem to want to cut any slack which is lame because my idle is well under 10% and Id be willing to bet cruise is over 80% by a good deal. -
Looks like @supersnackbar was right when he predicted Frog soup for Magnum.

From the perspective of me in my truck, very little has changed since I got here.
Still bypass weigh stations often. Doesn't seem changed one bit to me.
Still just out here minding my own business, racking up miles.
Still on pace for another $70k+ year.
Still get along with the office people.
Still accomplishing my goals.
Still have an excellent truck that treats me well.
It's when you start talking to other people that everyone makes it sound like the sky is falling. But Ill just keep on keeping on in my truck. Misery loves company and is contagious. I keep to myself and everything is just peachy for me. Driving is just fun for me. There is nothing here stopping me from accomplishing my goals. If for some reason my progress drops significantly and I can't seem to help it, then I'll join everyone in convincing everyone else the sky is falling. -
The only thing that has changed for me is that I get a call the day before I deliver to see if I’m good with the pre plan outside of MN and ND areas.
In 3 months I will have been here 3 years. so far I have run 405k miles since I started.
Truck runs good.
I’m left alone.
Run where I want to.
We don’t do the northeast or California.
Oh and one more thing.
I have never been late getting home.Zangief, Lowlite, Winnyf1 and 1 other person Thank this. -

Zata40 Thanks this. -
When you are on a tight load getting a call when you are less than a days drive away asking you if you will make it on time...even though you have a 98% or better on time performance.
Vacation now being a 14 day out request, trust me when you’re not in one of the high volume lanes this can impact your mileage performance
Slow trucks, I know you don’t care to go fast but many don’t like getting passed by SWIFT.
Again like you I am doing well financially and get along with our dispatch/DM team and generally enjoy it here. That said it’s not the same as it was 3 years ago and much of the structure we are putting in takes freedom away...it’s horses for courses and so long as you are enjoying it here, rock on! -
I guess didn’t get any off it. Nobody has called me about it.
