does a boost leak/problem hurt startability?

    Well, I guess what I read online was false information. I didn't think anything was allowed on the web if it wasn't true. LOL.

    Read somewhere, don't believe it was on TR, that CAT didn't allow more than about 35 or so boost on any of the Acert motors to get the emissions where they needed to be.

    Dag! Now I have to question everything I read.

    I know that the ECM on a 6NZ doesnt read over 35, even if your turbo pushes higher. Thats why I had to use an air pressure gauge to see what I was getting.

    I’m also having problems with low boost on bottom end. I have mxs acert tuned, boost will do close to 60 top end and usually starts very early, last 2 weeks I’m having to reach 13 - 1400 rpms before it starts spooling.
