I dunno...
Last year I was rolling eastbound on I-10 about 10 miles from the LA line in TX, when I noticed traffic ahead braking suddenly and swerving hard left. Me being in the rt. lane in the Un-goverened 379 I was piloting, pulled back on the reins to see WYD was going on....
Lol and behold there's a spooked crazy mare, with no reins or anything running not only wild but ALONE and SCARED on the interstate...
I threw my hazards and OSOW beacons on and popped the brakes blocking the right lane...Thank God the poor animal took the hint and headed back to the shoulder, but also most of the 4x wheelers and maybe 25% of the big trucks either stopped and got over or merged over ahead of time.....
One 4-wheeler with a bridle rope stopped, and we got her calmed down, and waited for the Po-Po...
I definitely took a huge risk to me and my employer, but I need to put what I said into context...
If that 4-wheeler and I had not stopped, how many potential victims (yes, INCLUDING the horse) might their have been???
Liability and ambulance chasers be ######...
Disappointed in my fellow drivers.
