She is in retirement now but, has been a great road trip dog.

She still “works” in the shop sometimes.

I have to carry her up and down the stairs of the house now though so she doesn’t get out much anymore. 5F1E442C-B58B-4F4B-9E10-F26BC6D650B1.jpeg

I've see the Dog sitting in the drivers seat all too often... :(

The "owner" will park and go in for a shower and something to eat. The Dog will sit up on the seat and watch the owner all the way to the TS door. The dog will just st and stare the whole time., and wait, and wait. Someone will come out and start walking in the direction and the dog will focus on them. You can see the anticipation in the dog as the person gets closer and closer. Shoulders start to shift back and forth, a small whimper/bark, tail wagging. But wait, whats this? they aren't coming here! they just keep walking by. Head shifts back and forth between the person walking by and the last place they seen their "owner". Once the person walks by out of view they sit back down on the seat and wait, and wait, till the next person comes along...

Finally, the "owner" comes along. the dog is literally bouncing off the walls in excitement. Then he "owner" starts barking at/scolding the dog because it is annoyingly going ape #$%^ happy they are there...

    Not quite right.

I'm an animal lover so it always makes me smile seeing things like this. Got to see a cat sitting on the dashboard of an old freightliner a few weeks back, chill as a can be just watching his human drive him around.

Hi all. My husband rescued a 4 month old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog who had been dumped at a rest area in Arkansas. She's been riding shotgun with him ever since without a worry in the world. Beth is 8 months old now and a pro already. She's a joy at home too. mms_img1767315201.jpg mms_img1767315201.jpg
