Why would anyone want to buy a used harness? Are you wanting it to be precorroded?

The thing is unless you know what you are looking at, which even a lot of mechanic are clueless, it is really hard to determine what is and isn't corroded in a connector.

    ChaoSS and Lepton1 Thank this.

I need help! Can a bad wiring harness cause my n14 Cummings to mis and choke ? It don’t do it all the time, it started after I went through a big rain, shut the whole truck down. Finally cranked back up. Now it does it about every 30 minutes

check relays, connectors, & fuse box for corrosion. Odds are some wiring got wet and corroded and now you have bad connections.

    Emerson19 Thanks this.

Check the cam position sensor make sure it's not wet inside the connector. It'll give you fits if so.
