    Here’s a question.

    How the hell does one ascend to a management position in this job, dispatcher in particular, and not know you need ID placards to put more than 88XX lbs of one UN number on an empty truck???

    The same way your shippers get into the position of being shippers of hazardous materials without knowing that they are supposed to provide those placards for the shipment.

    Well, these were batteries, probably used forklift batteries going somewhere for.... whatever, coming out of some canning company, so I’d just be thankful if they have the BOL right, let alone even have a clue about anything else.

    Hey folks. I am back(ish). I sold my place and I am now in Columbia/Lexington South Carolina.

    Anyone know of any companies out here? I saw a Saia barn and I think ODFL also has a terminal.

    Any help or suggestions appreciated.
