Sky isn't falling, bit if you use this ammendment for anything other than a short move off of a shipper or receiver property, and even at that you need to be fully out of hours, you're a moron.

And by the rule that you don't want to acknowledge for whatever reason, how do you know you just didn't drive 30 minutes the wrong way for nothing?

I know you don't care, it's not your problem. People with your outlook are what creates problems for everyone.

Having ELD in our trucks just got better than having paper logs and is NOT good news for drivers because shippers/receivers are going to abuse it as much as drivers.

I could only make it past the first couple of pages, its not rocket science and it’s not written in Klingon, I feel like I’m at the imaginary lunch counter at the Truck stop and all the monkeys are trying to put the square pegs in the round holes..

No wonder most of you guys love the elogs, you all are so scared your 20 year old punk dispacter is going to MAKE you do stuff you don’t want to do.. we don’t need mandates to protect you from your big bad dispatcher, or your big bad mega fleet, we just need you to grow some nuts..

Ive come to find out that the big talkers (typers) truckers are the most nutless drivers. Lets say you been at the shipper(receiver) for 5 hours getting loaded (empty) you call broker and tell him (her) "I'm running out of hours" broker says "no problem you can PC to the truckstop 40 miles away". What do you do BIG NUTS driver?

#1. What driver calls a broker with their personal problems related to logs?

#2. Beyond that, WTH point are trying to make?

It's not a question of being made to do anything, it's a question of legality and liability.

This "ruling" opens a large gray area and leaves the driver with the lions share of the legal liability.

When my company started really going after customers for detention, we saw average load times drop. I don't get assigned loads where I have to load/unload on my 10 hr break. This 'expansion of pc is just a back handed way of undoing eld/hos compliance.

You probably dont get because you are either a company driver or one of them big talkers (typer). Or if you are a OO take the broker part of the equation and put the shipper (receiver) instead, what would you still do?
