Who is it that made you the expert on truck driving? You aren't sitting in the cab with any of us, so you really don't know how we drive. You assume from a few sentences you get the picture. You don't . You can keep blathering on but I am tired of you. I drive in a big city most every day. Do you?

HD_Renegade, Aamcotrans and jtaran06 Thank this.

At risk of posting on topic...

    Almost...

    ;)

I always mounted the GPS in a truck on the face of the dash as well. I never encountered a signal problem and it was a lot easier to see and adjust if necessary.

Not everyone has that luxury. Some local guys don't have a secure place to park, or get the same truck all the time. But yeah, if it were my truck, the dash would be the place.

Professional? Hahaha I guess that makes people feel good about driving a truck? Hahaha you see these guys at these truck stops? That’s what professionals look like? Truck driver is all it is. Turn the wheel and shift gears. You could teach a monkey to do it.

So you drive in a big city and you don't watch your mirrors. And you're PROUD of that fact? It's only a matter of time...

Let me guess, you are one of these guys with a 30 year old truck with 100 lights on it and you never stop talking on the CB while watching your mirrors.

Just because YOU could be replaced by a trained monkey doesn't mean we all could. And yes, I have seen (and smelled) some alleged truck drivers, which is part of why I try to avoid truck stops as much as I can, fueling at places the big fleets don't use. Some of them are downright embarrassing to the profession...no more so than the idiots driving with their head up their posterior, though.

When you drive an F-250 you can fuel most anywhere, but those of us in semis have to use the bigger places.
