A couple of months ago, i took one of this new Volvo 860 Globetrotter trim for a ride . Honestly, after owning my 3rd Volvo truck i wasn't very impressed and because the exchange rate to our Canadian dollar is bad 1.3 cad=1 usd, the price is kind of high, +180,000 cad . So, i decided to keep fixing my 2010/ 780.
But what impressed me the most was the seat; if i couldn't afford the whole truck at least to get taste of new truck comfortable ride . I ordered it through Volvo dealer, It took a month to get it, come from production Volvo doesn't it keep it stock. I installed it myself, simple 4 bolts and air line, still have figure out what for are the electric wires, heating maybe or ... "electric chair" for e-log cheaters?!
Still a National (2200 cad$ ) and i don't like leather, but comfortable cushion and it has some king of gyroscopic fast action leveling valve, adjustable, i don't feel the potholes anymore, feels like floating ,i'm not tired after 8-10 hours of driving ;I drove it for 3 weeks already and love it.

this is a great question i know they are interchangeble cuz i do it all the time, i dont know if the old armrest will fit a new one and they are a bit of a ##### to remove and install.

Why not to change with Legacy Gold or other great aftermarket seats?

You can order them with armrests however most idiot Salesman at dealers don't put them on....
Just one of many Spec'ing failures most dealers make. Most of the salesman are pretty clueless how to spec a truck, it's pathetic.
