According to most truckers, which truck stop would they agree is the worst?
As far as parking, reputation, etc

I always hated the fish hook at I 44 and US 71. Hard to get in and out of sometime. I can say the same about the Roanoke TA. Both of these places were prime fueling places.

There are many bad ones. Some are decent. A few pretty good.
Only stayed at one where I refused to get out of the truck after I parked, mainly because it was a moon cratered mud hole. Cant remember the name, some mom and pop joint on the east coast. My partner got out and braved the diner, said it was the worst food he ever ate, and he wasnt a picky eater. Had a security load and they told us to be sure to check the doors every two hours

Your not going to get truckers to agree on anything but high on the list has to be the Love's in Tacoma, Washington.

Should probably separate the results into large chain stops, small chain stops, and independent stops
Most of the "Indian owned" trucks stops will meet the minimum requirements for "bad truck stop" in the independent category. Probably will be an independent that would win the overall contest.
Any place that has deep holes in a dirt lot I absolutely avoid, but they're out there, I know.
For large chain stops, the Pecos J gets a nod, mainly because it's a nasty outpost for oilfield gypsies and has more then a few deep holes that need to be avoided if possible. An absolute last resort stop for me.Crude Truckin', Paddlewagon, PacoTaco and 1 other person Thank this.
