Is it loaded or empty. Either way need to pick up the trailer from the back to take the weight off the pins so they will retract.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
What the hell? How did he manage to do that?
RustyChops41, spyder7723 and CrappieJunkie Thank this. -
Did he try a sledge hammer?
-
If its loaded you must jack up trailer or call a tow truck and beat the pins in, or if empty get a big hammer to beat pins in till it drops down
-
If trailer is empty slide carefully tandems all the way back. Carefully!!!!! Not to slide the tandems out of under trailer.
Forklift or two jacks under DOT bumper to lift trailer tail and retract pins. -
Highway Sailor, spyder7723, Kyle G. and 5 others Thank this.

Maybe a sledgehammer and somebody holding a piece of steel or pipe. These wil have to be beaten back inside. Just make sure to use something that's bigger than the hole so it doesn't end up being bound inside after the trailer pin pushes through.
You're not going to be able to use the springs and linkage and handle to "pull them" into the retracted positionLast edited: Jun 12, 2018
