So i applied got accepted for orientation. They ran my dac mvr etc. I was also told by recruiter that he had to call current company to verify somethings. Is that it then or are they going to call company again ? Say for more info lets sat about incidents
Do companies do background check before or after orientation?

Depending on what THEY HEAR from your previous employer or employers and ASK YOU for your side, if they want to... they may discard your entire application and move on to the next potential hire with no problems on that one.
It seemed to me my half of my driving consisted of explaining accidents, incidents and telling stories to answer questions. It got to where i simply drove local in a paving outfit with a hay farm for a while long enough to land a very good reefer outfit in Arkansas and gtfo out of Maryland for good.
That was a dividing time in my life between outlaw trucking and much more professional work that improved in time. Among other things that year was a very turning point. Not to mention the South was much more willing to overlook my physical deafness and defects to give me work the yankees would not.UsualSuspect and Travelworld2067 Thank this. -
Travelworld you make me laugh.

They will find out about all incidents, accidents, or anything else whether your fault or not.
Then if you make it to orientation they will run your MVR againUsualSuspect Thanks this. -
If incidents arnt on mvr psp or dac. Do they count???? If this potential company already called current company will they call again?? Or is it the recruiters job to contact previous employer?
Iluvcats comeon mann. -
Its not on mvr psp or dac. -
Im going to orientation just dont wanna be sent home. Either way i still have q job at current company. I just wanna figure out if they already looked into accident incident report before giving my a ticket to orientation. Otherwise wouldnt that be dumb paying for my ticket then sending me home.

First of all, what answers do you want? You have multiple incidents this year and you want us to tell you your next employer is not gonna find out. Nobody really knows. Your old employer might add it to your DAC after you leave. Ask them if they plan to do just that.
dunchues, austinmike and x1Heavy Thank this. -
It doesn't matter if it's not on dac, psp, or any other 3 letter abbreviations. You still hit/crashed into objects and your company knows itUsualSuspect, brian991219, CrappieJunkie and 1 other person Thank this. -
BTW Travelworld, get a real user name. Something popular, awesome and inspirational. Like mine.
Trucker1808, okiedokie and Travelworld2067 Thank this.
