Get yourself a headset and spend your evenings at the driver bar things at the restaurants telling stories about how you drove through 5 ft of snow all the way uphill, then all the way back.. also up hill.
Ok haven’t over heard that one yet. But have heard some flattering tales. They always seem to have those headset things on.
why do so many truckers wear headphones?

Because they are listening to music or talking on a phone. Hell, I always do it when I'm driving my rig. Just don't blast off where you can't hear nobody around of your surroundings. Just be careful about the law about wearing them. I don't know about a law about wearing ear buds or headphones. I see all truck driver seat them when I pass by their rigs. I wear ear buds instead of headphones I hate the thing that goes around your head. Plus, ear buds are more comfortable than headphones. But I use my Bluetooth ear buds because it won't be tangle up while I'm driving for 8 hours. My Bluetooth are so good so use them the most.

My husband and I laugh at the drivers that walk around wearing the stupid parrot/Bluetooth headset. I feel like walking up to them and asking them if they’re ready to take my order. My husband saw one guy with the headset on and still using his phone to make a call and speak on the phone. He’s also taken a #### next to a guy in the other stall that was on his headset making a call and pushing. Such douchebags.

Just passing by Thanks this.

I might get one just for listening to music while my codriver sleeps. My cell phone speaker just doesnt do Bach any justice. Most music is fine but switch over to classical and I miss out on most of it.

The audio is much better on the blueparrots for the other caller than using a cell phone. I've been told that.
Used to be if you saw someone talking to 'himself', you thought him crazy. Now? You look for the headset.Lepton1 and Odin's Rabid Dog Thank this. -
