hey fellas, looking for info on this outfit. The reason for that, I am moving out of CA and have the local Wheaton agent handling the household and my two restored Studebaker trucks.

This afternoon a rep from this company called and said he was representing the local moving agent, didn’t specifically say he was representing Wheaton.

Leads me to believe that the local agent put the haul on a load board.

I looked at the website and it looks to me like this is only a broker and not an actual transporter.

Have any of you good, bad, or indifferent about this company.

Thanks for any insight you guys can offer.

As far as I know nationwide transport is a carrier/broker our of Omaha, NE. They do run a lot of trucks in Missouri, but I do see them post a lot of stuff on the load board for bottom dollar rates.

    dclerici1 Thanks this.

But this Nationwide is out of West Plains, MO. But it still sounds like it’s just a broker.
I spoke with my moving agent today and appearently Wheaton made the arraignments with them. I guess they do a good amount of hauling for Wheaton. A half-ton pu and a one and a half ton flatbed, I’m paying Wheaton 2600.00 from Ca to MO, roughly 1950 miles.
But, I’m pay about 9 times that to move the contents of the house, so who knows how they break the charges down.
