CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Got held up for two hours on i22 West. Bound about 15 miles from the Mississippi border and 45 miles from my customer who had overnight parking. I could have made it to the customer by 6am and still had 20 minutes to spare... now I ran out of time and had to drive 15 miles with no time on my clock to get to the nearest spot to park (this rest area just past the border..) gonna have to do a 10 hour here and then do my delivery... oh and the window for the delivery closes at 2pm and I’m not gonna be able to make that... great....

met a driver tonite awesome guy in Racine man that guy can drive beat me to the petro on 94 and I thought I could beat him there exit333 talked for about 20 mins or so filled up his truck and bought him a sandwhich good info on cfi man this company is awesome soo far cant compare to any other company out there.

 

Sounds like we've all had rough weeks. We had a blowout in ATL, ended up staying at that crap Petro so we could get it fixed. 10hrs to put on a tire but according to the tech "she took her time to make sure she did a good job". Bleh oh well. On home time now. 5 days to spend with the wife and family. Although wife and I will have plenty of time together once we go back.

We decided to drop down to solo status, they were driving us so much that we literally only saw each other for a 2-3 hours a day. And we started driving to see the country together. Not apart. The money was ridiculously good. But it's not worth it for us lol.

 

Yup is all bout having fun and making good money but not killing each other to the point u cant drive together. I think we give it a shot for 6months if its too rough we go down to solo if its not worth it to us either.

 

Yeah we tried but we just didn't like it much. We were gonna give it 6mos too to pay off our contract. But honestly you make enough in the first money to pay off one of you guys schooling. So that's what we're going to do. And I'll just work out my 1 year contract.
