Hangs on the corner of a tall building in Mobile, Alabama. They use it as a ball drop.... for celebration. About 10' in diameter if memory is right. Have a pic of it somewhere.

I haven't checked in here in a day or three...or 15. That was a lot of reading to catch up on.

This place moves fast when you're not looking.

FE0BC3BF-3BF2-49B7-A040-E0BE4E079B18.png For you guys looking to upgrade your 4x6 lights to led consider these. I had them in my star and a buddy has them in a kw. No modifications necessary and once aimed properly they are not a hindrance to other motorists. And they look really clean, unlike the bug eye look of a jw speaker or that other brand that has what looks like 10,000 diodes under the lens.

    The brand is Maxxima.

You need to expand into the intermountain west.

Do they generate any heat? I want to switch mine out but I'm not really interested in something that let's snow build up on them in the winter.

No, that is the downside to them. There’s a brand that does have a heated lens, can’t remember which one it was though. Maybe @RStewart was the one that I remember talking about them.

I put the Truck Lite LED lights in mine and I highly recommend them.

I agree with you on the heat deal to certain extent.

The problem we have out here in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and generally out east is the amount of salt and brine garbage they are putting on the roads now.

It's getting to the point out in our area where even if you have heating elements at night, the salt and brine film dries on the lights and windshield and with all the dirt and grime mixed in with it, you end up not being able to see worth a dam anyway. Its almost like it's baked on it seems .It's very aggravating, I just ended up instaling projector 1 piece assembly and called it good.

I'll say this, I shoulda done that a LONG time ago
