Me personally, I wouldn't quit unless their truck is on their property. Sometimes there's some not so good advice on these threads.

A few weeks ago I picked up a D&H trailer that had 4, yes 4 BAD TIRES. I pulled it 2 miles to the nearest truck stop and called my company. I told them the situation. I told TA what to do. I sat for 5 hours with my trailer backed into that hole and nothing happened. I go inside and TA tells me that Ozark is only approving changing the flat tire, not any of the damaged tires. I then called my company and my shop manager told me "Look man, I'm not putting tires on your ####ing trailer." (his words not mine) I said well I'm not pulling this "####ing trailer". He said I'll call the fleet manager, I told him do that I'll tell him the same thing. I never got a call, so I had to call. I spoke with the fleet manager and he replaced the two bad tires. When I finally got it to our yard the tire guy immediately replaced another one and said it was dangerous and about to come apart.
I told my company that I will leave the truck at the truck stop if I have to. I wasn't going to pull it down the road with the dangerous tires. So I couldn't get it to our terminal to abandon it. I would have had to abandon it in the TA parking lot.bigmotor1212 and Oldironfan Thank this. -
Chances are he didn't do that. Just like I didn't do mine. I got backed into in the Loves parking lot in Minden LA. Those look like the hinge marks from the rear doors on a trailer. Chances are that truck was backed into.stwik and Paddlewagon Thank this. -

I think you did right to take a picture. I do the same when I see damage on a truck beside me, so I have a time stamp. First thing I think, is that mf'er will try to blame that on me.

Not to mention the time away from home.
