I see this quite often and looks like the same story again. Someone works on a degree and can't find a decent job without experience. I looked through the school link the op provided and no career placement assistance from the school. But it looks like they got the money from the GI bill so I guess they are satisfied.

 

Its not that they have no experience - they have no skills to speak of.

Its like my guy this week who has no concept of the HOS and hit 6 curbs in the first 15 miles. He has a cdl, but is not remotely qualified. IT companies don't want to spend their resources teaching new hires things they should now before they got the degree - like all surge protectors are power strips but not all power strips are surge protectors. These for profit "colleges" are basically scamming veterans and the government (don't forget the wia grants).

Both. If the OP is saying he plans to be a trainer in 6 months that would not be a post I would want to see.

Seriously, keep looking for a better company. Even with two preventable accidents during your training, someone will hire you.

Personally, I recommend Swift, as I've been with them for five years. (Even the most hard core Swift basher will admit that Swift is an upgrade from CRE.) If you feel you need more training from a competent mentor, they'll provide it.
