Truck is not ready yet... :biggrin_25512:
Actually Freightliner yesterday didn't touch the coolant leakage problem.... :biggrin_25513: it was still leaking this morning...
Their mechanic was in a hurry... when he gave me truck yesterday I noticed several clamps loose with no bolts and a support bar missing another bolt... Asked him to fix those and he did... yesterday.
But today my company mechanics took a look at the job done and found several other things... hoses misplaced... in the wrong places and missing bolts and the coolant still leaking....:angry1:
So, they took truck back to Freightliner.... and they are putting a new coolant reservoir in there...
My gut feeling tells me the problem might have been the tip of the overflow hose was cracked... I hope they replace that hose... Cause other Freightliner back in Indianapolis said they did but it doesn't look like they did....:biggrin_25512:
But anyway... I will make sure that my company mechanic gets the truck back and check the job done this time...

But the QT is not that much better either.... it's very small... only 5 good spots on the southeast side of its parking lot....

Ok... why is it called stinger? Does it have to do with the way the trailer is hooked to the tractor?

    Feedman Thanks this.

Demotte IN, outta time for the day.
That blowout really put a crimp in my trip plan; shoulda been well south of Indy by now. Gonna be nip and tuck to Chattanooga. Maybe I'll get a good tailwind! :p
No sense pulling the late bell yet.
Hopefully I'll make better time when I start back at 0-dark-30.
Guess I'll go see if this Country Pride sucks as bad as all the other ones......

What I meant to say is that the general definition for stinger is something that stings... like piercing.... looking at your picture, it looks like an extension of the trailer hooks to the tractor....
