I have the Rand McNally Commercial Atlas. It doesn’t give detailed surface street info for anything other than major cities. My stops are in little podunk towns as well.

We all know a gps is a must have.
It’s so much nicer having a gps tell you where Trout Street is than being behind you as you slow to a stop to find and squint at the street signs.
And my laminated RM atlas never ever offered any help telling which streets were truck legal or where they were at.
Good luck with the new gig.

If you can't afford the tools for the job, you need a different job.

But he just switched jobs and went through a nasty divorce.

The same thing can happen to you if you get married and have kids or can’t you understand normal thinking?

As of six months ago, I was sitting fat and happy in my own home. Things have decidedly taken a turn for the worse, to the point of being afraid to ask, “Can it get any worse???”

I have been more than able to afford whatever tools I needed for the job, what I haven’t had is a (ex) wife who is intent on my personal destruction.
