I believe super solo is when u drive approximately 14 hr a day and Ten off. Little more than solo not as much as team. Good if u want to spend sometime with spouse and don't need the big $

We didn’t make up “Super Solo” we were told by a recruiter that we can run “Super Solo” . Which we haven’t heard of anywhere else other than Werner, May trucking. Hence I made a thread asking if anyone else had heard of it.

Covenant, Werner and Usxpress have been trying to get us to get us to run teams for them but I want to hear from other truckers before accepting any offer.

What I have read about Old Dominion is that you need some experience. I don’t have any Experience yet. I just want to get paid the most if all beginner companies are going to jerk us around I rather get paid the most to do so.

Even running company team at Prime. You’ll each make $1,400 a week. You’ll at least get your experience/ training. They should do a good job of really training you. I understand. You already have your license.
Forgive these guys who are more wrapped up in how they appear in their response than communicating. Their sarcasm is toward the companies. Not you.
To look at what you can make with a little experience. Red Viking Trucker has info on a good lease deal. You two could be grossing over $200k a year.edit... you might even check Red’s site for that company now? If you’re confident. Your husband has experience. They might take you on now?
I drove with no training after school. Wouldn’t suggest it for everybody. But you also have a trainer in your husband. Always there to help. And your accepting risk in that lease instead of the company.

Hello. My wife and I are at Rl carriers. They pay very well and have teams home every weekend. Wife and I make 90k each. We are on the low end because our run gets us back every day for 4 hrs to our house. We have teams making 110k plus a year each but only home on weekend. We need teams because they are in high demand and no one wants to team up. Also you have to have all endorsements on CDL . Hazmat, doubles, tanker. We have a husband wife team that is line you . Wife had no experience but her husband did. She went to driving school and got her cdl. They are both doing well now. Message her on here. https://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/members/pam-in-mn.195195/
I also have a thread on here called husband and wife starting at R+l. The good py for teams is for LTL companies Good luck

A difficulty with trying to run the truck more than solo hours but less than normal team hours could be matching your desired drive time with the way that the loads are booked - it wouldn't do you any good to drive 800 or so miles a day if the loads are booked assuming something else, as they normally would be.

A possible solution could be to get on with a large company with a lot of loads that are 24hr open window drop and hooks at both ends. Then if you were assigned solo loads but pushed them early all the time and got your dispatcher to work with you on the reload assignments, it could work well for you.

Super Solo is burning out your 70 in a couple of days. The optional 34 Reset would be rolling again inside the week.

We have supersolos out there, they are called super truckers. durr hurr.. /TEASE.

Oh I just like running my 11hrs everyday until I grab 34. And drive my 11 hours per day as much as possible.
I don't find sitting in a trucker lounge listening to all the boasting relaxing.

Personally, I wouldn't trust any company to run you as super solo. Once they get you in there they will run you as a full team. It'll start out as, "I need you to do this favor for me."
