Could you please make things a bit more clear.
You have high blood sugars, You are a diabetic as well.
Do I understand that correctly.

 

Don’t panic. Go see your DR. He can write a letter for you. They make a ton over approved meds if your running a little high. There not supposed to deny but put you on a 30 or 90 day Med Card. You can not have a CDL if you take insulin (you need a wavier for that and it takes forever) plus you need a lot of different specialty DR to sign off.

Metforman is a great 1st round drug. Plus it’s cheap. Needless to say diet does play a big role in your blood sugar levels. Start reading. Also, if it’s in your urine you most likely have something going on. Walmart sells Blood Sugar testing equipment strips etc for under 20 bucks. Anything above 175 will most likely spill over into your urine. Stay positive. Keep us updated.

Do you have a test unit?
You may need to go back to doing a full day test for a few weeks, maybe a month. then you will have a record to work with. May also be a good idea to run your A1C every 30 days for 3 or 4 times again to build a record.

How long have you been diagnosed with Type 2?

 

If that test strip once dipped into your urine comes back as more then a trace amount it means in most cases your blood sugar level is OVER 200. Your blood sugar is not under control and this MUST be fixed. I'm sensitive to the fact your driving job is your income and well being. However out of control blood sugar can cause bleeding in the eyes and heart problems. I consider any blood sugar over 200 as a medical emergency and you SHOULD seek medical help RIGHT NOW. I suggest you get this corrected ASAP then seek that physical. Your health is of more concern to me right now. Buy a blood sugar meter. they are not expensive. Check your blood sugar every morning. Once you get it down under 140 or so you should not have this spilling over into your urine. WEBSITE

 

This is becoming a big problem.
Peole go to a doctor, the get tested and the doctor come back an says well you have high blood sugar, looks like your a type 2 diabetic. This prescription should do the trick, lets see you in 90 days.

Not one mention of what exactly type 2 is.
Not one mention of having appointments with a certified diabetes educator.
No help from a nutrition, diet educator.

 

I had a high blood sugar reading for a physical. I left and did a quick 30 minute workout and went back and passed the test. Exercising before the physical can only help stabilize blood sugar levels.

 

Yes, Diabetes is more about diet and exercise then it is about medications. In fact it is possible to drop all meds as a type 2 diabetic and get control by diet and exercise alone. Today I have to take 5 shots a day for control because those dang meds won't control mine. One of several reasons I retired was my doctor back in Georgia told me my current physical was the last one he would give me. I did get one by now retired Dr Sager at the Hampton Virginia VA medical center. Mine was primary to switch my CDL over from georgia to Virginia after the thing in 2014 and trying to work out something. Then my other issues took over and I lost not only my medical but my CDL and today I can't legally drive anything.
