I tried backing into a spot at a truck stop in Penn. and I got myself stuck halfway in/out of the spot.
40,000lbs. in the box, tried the inter-axle, letting out the air bags, rocking back and forth as much as I could, and finally kicking the tires and anything else I felt needed to be killed. Any tips before I call a tow truck in the AM? Buy some rock salt? dirt/sand? what has worked?
Help!!! I am stuck in the ice!!!

good idea but if he cant move far enuff to get them on wont do any good

Don't dump the air, that makes it worse. Salt will help, or salt and sand mixed, or even just sand or dirt if you can find some of that. You need to get it under the tires and embedded into the ice.

chains will work if done right. put chains on as tight as you can and then try rocking the truck back and forth...gently.. until they are under the tire and then tighten them up some more. i know it's alot of work but cheaper than a wrecker. see if someone will pull you forward a bit just to get you out of the rut.

If you got deep reduction use it with the interlocks, put a smidge on the cruise and see if it will walk itself out, always got me out of slick wet clay.

kitty litter, coffee grounds, or chains

Shingles work pretty good, you can put them down under the tires and get a bite to get moving.
