Honestly flatbedding probably isn’t for you. I wasn’t aware of all the other stuff and was trying to give you advice, but in my opinion you need to get experience and get your stuff together. All of those other companies invested time and money to take a chance on you and none of them have seen a return on their investment.
Tug Toy, BigBob410, sawmill and 1 other person Thank this. -
And if nothing shows up on your mvr then why is his insurance going up? Is it because of your age? Or is he using that as an excuse to pay you less until he sees if you stick around or not?
TheyCallMeDave, Tug Toy, BigBob410 and 3 others Thank this. -
Age he never even asked for an application. All he did was pull my mvr
Tug Toy Thanks this. -
I have no reason to think some of the new information that has been posted, is in any way incorrect.
So, here is the brass tacks at the bottom line.
You need to get yourself in order. You want to do flatbed, probably not the best idea.
Call western express, they are a last second chance company that is not too far away from you.
They will probably take you, and put you with a trainer.
Put in a year, maybe two. Get some incident free time under your belt. Then, maybe you can get into a better situation. In the mean time, grow up a bit, stop blaming others for your situation. Take responsibility for yourself and your actions. Get a work ethic that gives you value.
Stop talking, start listening, you might be amazed at what you hear.
My guess is that the deal on the table right now is the path you will take. Please do me a favor, not because I want to work for this company. I would like to know the name of it, so I can avoid the trucks.TripleSix, Just passing by, krupa530 and 3 others Thank this. -
If he’s giving you a chance with your work history you better stay there no matter what. You need to establish a stable work history or pretty soon you’ll be unemployable. If there are any family issues then you better address them now before you leave and go to work.

Get your shirt wet or a wet hat. Tarping in Places like Pheonix and Las Vegas will be a cake walk when that water starts to evaporate. -
Ruthless Thanks this.

It always amazes me when I see posts like this one. All the same theme:

O/P takes job (against EVERYONES advice). Shows back up 3-6 weeks later complaining about company, how he didn't make any money, and was unjustly terminated - looking for advice on job #6.....
