Thanks a lot! No telling how long I would have been on the wrong side waiting for someone to say something! Even when I got to the right side I had to wait several minutes by the office door (locked) to get someone to receive me.

Yeah I didn't know if I was going to get the job I'm going to or not before I left. The wife had planned on coming, and since we didn't know for sure....

 

So here's how this has all worked out.
I was told by my DM that "If you will take the truck back to Fargo we will get you both back to Coon Rapids. You can ride with another driver or shuttle heading that way."
All day yesterday Matt Miller is telling me that "You guys will be riding with someone, I'm working on it."
This morning I was waiting to hear something, and messaged Miller.
That's when I'm told that they can get ME back to Coon Rapids, but not my wife. Because I am leaving and no longer an employee her passenger allowance slip isn't good.
Of course I got pissed, so now Chad is going to call me.
Chad calls and we start talking.
I explained that my last day isn't officially until tomorrow, Thursday.
Nope, can't do it.
So let me take my truck back to CR.
Nope, then have to send someone to get it.
Then put another driver with me and let him ride down and bring the truck back.
Well we didn't think of that, but no we're not going to do that either.
So they offer to pay for her to ride on a bus. I have to pay for my own ticket since they have a free way for me.
This #### is totally unacceptable
I did get a lift from someone in safety who shall remain anonymous who agreed with me that this is some messed up ####. That I have been lied to multiple times. And that this is why drivers are leaving left and right.
So here's a big ol' #### You to Magnum.
Thank God I'm out of here.
