    Good to know.
    Are you dedicated or National??

That’s what they said today. Start before September 1st and get bumped to .51 September 1st.
Start after September 1st and get .50 then drive 30,000 miles to get bumped to .51.

Yes, but they have been tweaking the software for years now. It rarely gives me any issues.

Can you set the opti idle at 55 degrees to sleep in the cold?? Will it keep the truck cold???
    Just my sleep patterns, Thanks!

Woke up to find omnitracs had been “updated”. Tried to run the tutorial but the audio cuts off and on and then continued even after I exited the media manager. I see the approve tab is now Certify, anything else that’s not obvious?

Be very careful about when you go on duty after a 30min, 10hr, or 34hr break.

If you immediately click to on duty when the countdown says your break is over, you will interrupt your break.

Wait until you see the DOT clock change to indicate your time has refreshed.

If you are running a really tight day, also know that when the DOT clock flips to 0 minutes left, you are done. You no longer have the last minute countdown in seconds only.

The machine will also aggressively pester you to certify your activities.

Soooo...how are the trucks? Creature comfort, inverters? Etc thinking of coming over done with leasing, I’ve made good but willing to sacrifice some pay for giving up the bs that comes with being a owner op.

They warned us at Magnum and here at Moore about that. Said wait until it shows 31 minutes or 10:01 before moving or going on duty because, even though the display clock shows whole minutes(which rounds up slightly appearantly), the DOT clock logs to the second, and changing duty 5 seconds early will screw up a break.

    Bumper Thanks this.
