I dont even know what to say. But I think its great, the respect that is being shown here, even by the guys that really banged heads with him. You are all class acts, and I'm pleased to see it!
Lance was a natural storyteller. He had a great way with words and he made things interesting. His drive and ability were very inspiring. His kindness in showing people how to succeed with choice. His willingness to defend his views , ideals, and even his day to day activities, without resorting to vulgarity or meanness. His openness and honesty.

he was alot of fun to follow as well and he was with alot of us for years. We were there when he first got his keys to his truck. We were there when He was successful enough to buy a Viper(Crazy kid) and we were there for the hard times too as when he lost his house to the fire.

He was a big part of this forum for me, and while I cant say that we were friends in any way. He always treated me with kindness and answered my irritating questions with patience.

Lance, I wish you the best with 100% of my heart. But if its your turn to take that rig through the pearly gates, then Yank that dam n horn and be shifting gears when you do!

Let them know that a Truck Driver just came home!

It will work on anything. I've tried a phone, a laptop, and three different tablets. I didn't like the tablet at all, even if I asked it to simulate a desktop. I do most of my booking on the phone, but for some things, the laptop is best and sometimes essential.

 

Yeah. Outside of Friday I've been using the phone. Mostly because I can't get the 2 sets of outlets in my bunk to work. I finally got the inverter plugs to work so the laptop is charging now. Gonna have to call FL at some point and see if they know some secret to making the others work.

I haven't been able to find the solution online yet.

 

Have you checked in the underbunk section to see if maybe someone removed an inverter, and did not reconnect the lines? Some people will run smaller inverters from 12v outlet power lines, rather than direct battery connections.

 

It's plugged in on this end. Can't tell where the wires go from here yet. You would think these would either run off the inverter or directly off the APU.

 

Those run off the inverter and won't work unless it's on.
Do you have a TK evolution?
If so just go to a thermo king shop if they're not working , no need to sit a freightliner Steelership for who knows how long, lol.

 

I did see that same cable sleeve by the inverter. The inverter is definitely on since I am currently plugged into it directly.

It is an EATON True Sine Wave Inverter. So sayeth the control box on the wall of my bunk.
