Well that's just it my neighbor had a new garage door opener installed from the same garage door company and the entire thing installed was only $400.00. I thought that was pretty reasonable for a brand new unit. He could get at least 10 years of trouble free service out of that unit that's only $40.00 a year and 10 years is light for a garage door mine's 16 years old and this is the first time it's really acted up.

plus it's all oiled and adjusted right, etc

    totally worth it

the opener itself is going to cost you $200 (more or less) so $200 to put it in seems more than fair

Yep. Setting up the spring tension is something mere mortals really shouldn't mess with. "You'll shoot your eye out, kid!"

Well the old trailers are out of storage and back on the road. I haven't seen a Thermo King Super II unit all summer and all of a sudden right now there are 3 of them in our yard LOL! I had one today the thing rattles the whole trailer while it's running. They really don't make those things like they used to LOL!

Actually the older trailers can be kind of hard because the doors have been open and closed so much there usually kind of warped and the handles and stuff and rods for closing the doors are bent, sometime, but oh well it is what it is.
