That's the most I'd ever watched of that show and it was worth it.

You ain't kidding. Was a hot Italian chic at the receiving desk, don't remember which city in Jersey now, who looked and talked just like Marisa Tomei from the movie My Cousin Vinny..fabulous!!

I like California, Oregon, and Washington. Let’s also just say everything west of the Rockies I could do with out. Arizona could get wiped out by a volcano and I wouldn’t care.

It gets even easier to wrap a mind around the financial weight of California. They say it's annual sums in money equals or exceeds that of Russia.

It is also the one place where a certain DOT lady called my BS on a particular logged trip with a big truck. (She got me but for whatever reason she really clamped down on the inspection from hell and I lost a hour while she hunted for anything to stake me on.

I don't complain too much about California because I have not had any real trouble other than busting my logs. Again and again and again. I just as soon not run that far west. I used to pray that Arizona DOT would find insects on my reefer's doors so they can absolutely deny transit across to CA and turn my entire load back to the shipper east far away.

However there has been a couple of gals in that state long ago that might have been a future. But it's not to be. Sure are easy on the eyes. But to pry them loose and ship her east to a free state? HA that probably wont happen.

If I remember the late 90's California could not run traffic lights and were shutting off sections of a area at a time by turns day and night. They were getting power from Arizona and a number of other producing states according to the National Grid sources available online.

They have to import power to meet their needs. Essentially a parasite to the rest of the USA Grid wise. They have a nuclear plant plus a geothermal facility I believe both sit on major quake faults. I would hate to see the big one strike and destroy what little they have at all.

California has too much solar power. It needs another grid to share with.

The other cool thing about Jersey, if you're on the wrong side of the highway, even major highways, you will top your trailer.
