hello guys. Im living in eu. I have a question about trucks transmission standard. I heard somewhere transports with euro 5 will not access in europe. I mean, only euro 6 trucks will access in Europe in the future. What do you think about that? Is it true or not? I hope you know what I am thinking about. Thanks

according to gov.uk the only problem is low emission zones( LEZ) usually very large cities like London where you will have to pay a daily fee, however I saw nothing about bans on Euro 5 trucks, good luck.

I think my 2005 peterbilt, c15 cat (euro 3) would probably be arrested though.

And the area's where you are allowed to drive your old truck ,you will be charged high $/km.
In the EU they realised quickly that the quickest way to get old trucks off the roads is to make them to expensive to run so they charge the hell out off them with the roadtax.
ps there are allready measures in place to ban old cars from LEZ's.
It is all to do with airquality.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
