I had the pleasure of replacing a thermostat this weekend and when I had the intake side of the breather off I noticed my turbo wheel was all chewed up. Can I get just this part and replace it while the turbo is still installed on the engine or do I need to replace the entire turbo?

Those things spin upwards of 100,000 rpm and balanced as an assembly.
You need a new turbo . Find out why it's all chewed up also. Dont want the new turbo to suffer the same demise. -
yeah turbo is not that expensive and you can install it. its very easy. probably got chewed up from previous owner had something go into it. No need to be alarmed. just replace the whole turbo asap. Somewone will chime in soon with a replacement part number for you.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
I found one on Amazon for 605 from JM Turbo Technologies. Any experience with them? This one looks like they were chipping wood with it.

fit a borg warner 0000 turbo with billet compressor wheel.
cheaper and FAR better than cat reman.
just ensure you check the CAC system and the ENTIRE air intake system for debris that may damage the new turbo.
