    Lucky lucky..

also I just had a weird thing happened where I stop for fuel and I had a coolant leak on the truck apparently. It was leaking around the left side of the engine. And my coolant tank was about half down. So I went down to the Petro in Grants and there was no one in the shop so they got me in immediately.

So I stood out there with them while they did a pressure test on the coolant system to force the leak to find it and it never leaked again....and the pressure in the system held....

    The self healing DD15 apparently...

Oh, you didn’t see that part in the contract? You’re supposed to read that thing you know. :)

Speaking of contracts what I was at the terminal apparently a new driver was refusing to drive until the driver manager read them their contract to them. While he was already out on the road...

It's like shouldn't have read that before you left the terminal? Or do you like I did request a copy of the contract before you even show up?

I love when the load planners say your light load with a ton of miles is cancelled but then send it to the driver next to you at the truck stop, then lie again and say they have nothing else but a short hop to the next state, it's funny to me because this is not the first time this has happened and they wonder why I had trust issues lol.

    Terms of Service Violation

    Price gonna go uuuuuuuup

Terms of service violation? it's a story about how diesel prices are going to go up because of regulations on sulfur content for fuel for ships...

I have a cascadia that had this issue. You could turn key on and it eowou not cycle the abs and the light would not come on buy if you unplugged the pigtail and plugged it back in the system works. Went to freiFreightl and the mechanic took the R8 relay out (5 pin relay) and replaced with a 4 pin relay and now it's working properly.

If any of you have this issue it is the fuse box on firewall on driver side.

So the coolant leak is at the air compressor. Apparently it's a common failure of that particular coolant line on DD15s. 365k miles.

It's warranty covered by Detroit Diesel.

Mine had a coolant leak at the DEF injector area, an electrical wire was chafing it and rubbed a tiny hole in the coolant steel line. Used a $0.10 zip tie to hold the electrical wire away from the coolant line to prevent any more chafing til I could get it to the shop. I had done this on two Cummins engines I have driven, but evidently the Freightliner tech did not approve as they cut my little zip tie when the did the repair so I had to reach in there again and put another zip tie after I got my truck back.

    Kamkor Thanks this.
