Gonna try ATS for a year

So... just curious.... What direct costs are left to pay out of your "Net to Me"... as in. Truck lease, fuel, insurance, maintenance ?

Also how many of your loads are you tarping?

 

The "net to me" pay is what we bring home after all expenses( truck, fuel, etc) only thing that's not taken out by the company is taxes we have to set aside money for our taxes and pay it.

How much tarping are you doing?

 

I'm also leased to ATS as well, you tarp as little or as much as you want. You are offered multiple loads and if you choose one that's supposed to be tarped well then you tarp.

I've only taken on two loads that requires tarps and I took them and load paid enough I didn't mind tarping it.

 

I think putting a nice tarp job on a load is a nice thing. Why bescated to tarp if you run open deck?

 

I’m in St Cloud MN...I ran into an ATS driver...he had alotta good things to say about the company !!! I asked him...an read this entire thread because I’m curious about the company!! hope things are still goin good for you @Linte_Loco

 

I called ATS and according to them because I mostly get home once a week I'm, by their guidelines, not an OTR driver!! Seriously? I've been out here in one form or another since '88 and have run all the states East of Iowa. Oh well. Must be a sign!!

 

What have the last two months looked like? Still staying busy?
