Just checking in . I've been busy busy which is great. Running under my own authority again and so far so good. My new trailer is doing great and I'm happy with it so far. Haven't seen anyone not even @Trashtrucker1707 up my way.

Hey @NightWind im trying to stay busy as well. Just delivered in Michigan on my way to Illinois to reload and take a 34 hope everyone enjoys there weekend

 

I'm still out and about, I couldn't get out of the Atlanta vortex last week. Left the house Monday headed to sarasota, reloaded and headed to atlanta, bounced down to junction city back to ormond beach, went to the house for the night, ran a local up to jax, reloaded back to sarasota, back up to atlanta, further north to tate, brought that down towards tampa then bounced all the way across the state to cocoa beach to preload for pensacola tomorrow, a little over 3200 miles and I'm whooped. Atlanta is, and will always be, ATLANTA! It's not my favorite place to spend my time, but at least I stayed busy. Traded off my Honda yesterday and picked up a Kawasaki 450, at some point I'll realize I'm getting older and find a hobby more fitting of my age.

 

I met a 72 year twice retired fuel hauler Tuesday his advice was keep a young mind so whatever you have to do

 

Well it's been another week in the books. Haven't seen anyone from here (TTR) but that's ok. Wink trailers wants to install on my new trailer their ant tipping system for me to "test". I might let them but they are going to have to come here. How's everyone doing and where are you? Me I'm at home wondering what I am going to do for three days since I cut all the grass last week. Sleep sounds good.

I'm still around, extremely busy week....dropped Monday in P-cola, bounced up to Elmore, out to SC, back to middle GA, down to Miami, reload in Opa Locka, back up to P-cola, bounced to Appalachicola and dropped down by the house, then home thank god. Had a 3400 plus mile week and I felt every mile of it by Friday evening. @NightWind although we haven't seen each other, I still here you out there and holler at you on the radio, I don't know what you have done to that thing, but it talks. Safe travels all, no worries about how I'm spending my 3 days off, went and moto'd this morning, now I'm relaxing with a cold beer and plan on doing more of that over the next few days

 

@Trashtrucker1707 It's a Ham radio I haven't done anything to it. It's old like all my radios but one. I was everywhere and no where seemed like I was chasing my tail a few times. I'm still in PJs and not thinking I am going to get of of them today I may take a nap. Glad you're around and I just keep missing ya. Be safe everyone and Happy Labor Day.

I may have missed it. But did you post any new pics of the trailer? Did see where you were hauling an extra ton per load. Used to run a low weight tri axle. Being we could haul 74,000 lbs in Tn with one. I could haul 26 tons on that truck. Where the rest could only haul 24 tons.
We were hauling hot mix out of a 2 ton batch plant at the time. Its unreal how much that extra ton makes a truck in a day, week or month. Lots of people laughed at the single frames Chevy Brigadier General. But that extra $20. + per day. sure made me smile for sure.
